Clinical Pathways & Referrals

The Clinibee platform hosts a set of tools that are used to streamline referrals and bridge the gap between primary and secondary care.

Our platform is designed to streamline clinical pathways, referrals, and decision-making in healthcare. By combining evidence-based guidance with practical tools, it ensures that healthcare professionals can efficiently deliver personalised, high-quality care in the right place at the right time, while navigating the complexities of modern clinical practice.

A standout example of this approach is QGenome, a tool that simplifies genomic referrals and testing guidance, demonstrating how technology can support mainstreaming specialised care into everyday clinical workflows.

QGenome was built in collaboration with the South East Regional Genetics Service, based at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

The Problems in
Clinical Pathways & Referrals

Busy clinicians often lack the time to keep up with rapidly evolving clinical practice and pathways and navigating a vast, complex and evolving body of knowledge.
Clinibee enables specialists to collaborate on updating and creating content, ensuring accuracy without requiring developer involvement.
There’s a significant gap between the demand for specialist services and the availability of  these specialists.
Offers clear, actionable instructions for clinicians. For example, QGenome is aligned with NHS England’s National Genomic Test Directory, simplifying the referral and risk assessment process.
Traditional resources are often unwieldy, making it difficult to find and apply the most current guidelines in real-time.
Clinibee provides access to evidence-based clinical guidelines and educational materials, ensuring clinicians are always informed.
Without streamlined workflows, clinicians may struggle to make appropriate referrals, leading to missed opportunities for early interventions.
Clinibee generates patient-specific referral and report summaries, reducing administrative burden and improving referral quality.

Broad Applications Across Healthcare

While QGenome (genomics) serves as a leading example, this approach is equally impactful in other areas of clinical care, for example:

Cancer: Streamlining referrals for multidisciplinary care.
Maternity: Supporting complex decision-making in prenatal and postnatal care.
Cardiology & Renal Medicine: Enhancing care coordination for chronic conditions.

By integrating evidence-based tools into clinical workflows, healthcare professionals across primary, secondary, and tertiary care can benefit.
